The Event Calendar + List Component consists of a calendar interface combined with a text list of upcoming events. The placement of the text list is always to the right of the calendar (see below). This component can be used in any layout or template excluding left and right features.
Visitors can browse events by clicking on a specific day within the calendar, or by selecting events from the list.
By default, this component displays all events created using an event component within CQ. Modify the default setting by double-clicking on the component, or by right-clicking and selecting edit.
The calendar allows for multiple sources of events. Choose from a combination of paths (i.e. the folder location of the events) and/or tags. To specify one or more paths, click the “+” icon in the paths field (see red outline below). The order of the paths does not matter.
By specifying tags (see green outline below) within the tags entry field, you are requesting to view events within the specified paths, as well as having one or more of the tags you enter in this field. To add tags click the drop-down arrow and select tags accordingly.
Available tags:
The resulting Calendar will display events from the paths that are also tagged with the tags you selected.
